Polemos, a global gaming guild, has closed a funding round worth $2 million for its blockchain-based game – Illuvium. The funding has come about from the contributions of multiple investors like QCP Soteria, Delphi Digital, De-fi Capital, etc.

Polemos adheres to the pay-to-earn model and specializes in crypto games revolving around NFT – Non-Fungible tokens. The massive funding which has been raised via crowdfunding will be mainly utilized for boosting user adoption of Illuvium.

In a bid to educate and analyze gamers, Polemos is working towards building a player analytics system as well as a decentralized exchange platform. The company’s planning to lend resources like tokens to players in various developing countries to spur them to play games.

It must be noted that Polemos has entered into a partnership with Asian Logic, a web-based gambling operator. The collaboration is aimed at establishing a large multilayered network of gamers prior to the release of Illuvium.
