AIBC Summit 2022 in the Balkans got off with a good start as the number of esteemed delegates attending exceeded 2,700. Participants got the chance to experience Belgrade’s vibrant Serbian culture on the first day of the summit. They saw the city’s Medieval landmarks, modern-day attractions, and innovation. Participants learned about the rich history and origins of Belgrade.
The summit featured significant discussions around NFTs, blockchain technology, and the cryptocurrency industry. There were talks about centralization vs. decentralization. Moreover, AIBC Summit organized a charity drive that generated €19,000 for the SiGMA Foundation through competitive bidding. Artists Rick Goddard and Derek Mason had placed some of his paintings and NFTs under the hammer. The charity drive also featured Gnomevil’s NFT. The SiGMA Foundation plans to use the raised funds for the construction of a primary school in Ethiopia and the installation of a solar power system in the Philippines.
The Gala Awards Night brought together the who’s who of the crypto sector for an evening of recognition and celebration of achievement. More than 300 individuals graced the floors of the Awards Night with some of the winners being Huobi Global and UniGrid among others. The three-day summit also had VIP dinners. This was the ideal networking opportunity for the attendees to make connections, relax and forge synergies.
