Ava Labs to Offer Crypto Infrastructure Through Amazon Web Services.

Ava Labs is set to offer crypto infrastructure through Amazon Web Services (AWS) to facilitate enterprise, institutional and government adoption of blockchain. Avalanche is a blockchain that is optimized to support NFTs and Web3 games. It accommodates a unique technology called Subnets which act like custom blockchains built on Avalanche.

The subnets can have custom rulesets and use their token instead of Avalanche’s native AVAX for paying network gas fees. Ava Labs, as part of its deal with Amazon, will offer Subnet development as a service through the AWS Marketplace. This means that any company or organization could enlist Ava Labs to launch a custom subnet for them on the AWS platform. As such, AWS fully supports Avalanche’s infrastructure and dApp ecosystem. This includes one-click node deployment and best tooling for high compliance use cases.

Howard Wright, VP and Global Head of Startups, AWS, said they are all about bringing the most cutting-edge technologies to builders. He highlighted that the new capabilities brought by Avalanche enables AWS to do just that. Wright said AWS will help expand Avalanche adoption to new geographies and customer segments and support new tooling for Avalanche’s infrastructure and ecosystem. It should be noted that Avalanche nodes are able to run in the AWS GovCloud for government-related data storage. Government organizations would be able to adopt Avalanche technology for public sector projects. Emin Gun Sirer, Founder and CEO of Ava Labs, said it has been a huge boon for individual and enterprise developers to be able to spin up nodes and test networks on the fly with AWS in any legal jurisdiction that makes the most sense.
