Florida’s MIAMI BEACH: Strike, a company specialising in Bitcoin payments, is expanding the app’s present market of the U.S and El Salvador to more than 65 nations.
At the Bitcoin 2023 conference in Miami Beach, Florida, Strike CEO Jack Mallers announced the news on Friday.
The Strike app provides international payment and cross-border money transfer services using Bitcoin and Lightning, a second network for less expensive and quicker Bitcoin transactions. Users can now keep funds in tether (USDT) and bitcoin (BTC) on the app, which has a brand-new user experience.
According to Strike, the expansion will bring the size of its entire addressable market close to 3 billion.
According to Manuela Rios, vice president of product at Strike, “our ultimate goal is to address the 7 to 8 billion people in every single country.”
According to Rios, the firm has reportedly been working on a seamless onboarding experience for years, claiming it will be included in the app’s redesigned user interface.
The apps are stunning if you live in the US; the standard for design is really good, according to Rios. “Unfortunately, that’s not the case when downloading apps from abroad.”
