Bitcoin’s censorship resilience is praised by Diem stablecoin’s co-founder.

Bitcoin has seen its ups and downs and one can expect it to do the same thing in 2022, but it has always been resilient. It has a habit of bouncing back from the lows and is a great option for people looking to beat inflation.

David Marcus, one of the founders of Diem, has been saying that Bitcoin will be the number 1 currency since 2019. He has already compared it to digital gold and admires its resiliency over the years.

In a recent tweet, he said that the relevancy of the BTC will increase as time goes by and in 20 years, it will be the most important cryptocurrency.

Even though he is the founder of Diem, a stablecoin that was supposed to power the Metaverse at one point, he has been an admirer of BTC since long. He not only says the BTC will remain at the top but also predicts that ETH and SOL will be fighting for the second spot.

But his thoughts run parallel with that of the Facebook creator, Mark Zuckerberg. It has been reported that Mark has two goats, out of which one is named Bitcoin. Many people say that he is a Bitcoin bull, but he keeps most of his life private.

Diem was shut down after just 2 and ½ years of operations and many people like Jack Dorsey have come forward and condemned the coin itself. He said that the tech giant should have just focused on crypto in general.

If you have been watching the movement of the BTC, then it is the best time to buy some right now.
