Bitmain Updates Its Bitcoin Mining Rigs using Liquid Cooling Technology.

One of the biggest mining rig manufacturers for Bitcoin, Bitmain has added liquid cooling technology to their latest product. This move will help improve the hash power of the machine and mine more Bitcoin.

This feature will be available on the Antmire S19. The beast will now have a hash rate close to 198TH/s with an efficiency of 27.5 J/TH. It will take up 5445 watts of power. The Pro+ Hyd version is much more powerful than the last iteration of the S19.

S19 XP, the previous flagship product of the company, has a hash rate close to 140 TH/s and has an efficiency of 21.5 J/TH. It did this with only 3010 watts of power, though.

The latest models incorporate liquid cooling technology that has become common in the world of Desktops in recent years. It helps people achieve never seen before performance out of their rigs.

This is because liquid cooling works better than air cooling and thanks to this, the mining rigs can now be submerged in a hydrocarbon-based liquid. Since the liquid itself has no electrical conductivity, it is perfectly safe to use, on top of that, it is biodegradable too.

One of the main features of this specialized liquid is that it can reduce power consumption and heat while simultaneously reducing noise too. Miners are notorious for the amount of energy they use, and how noisy they are; this rig now rectifies both these problems.

The price hasn’t been confirmed yet, but shipping can start from any time between May to September.
