Blockdaemon, a leading independent blockchain node infrastructure, has been named in CB Insights fifth-annual “Fintech 250” ranking. The list showcases the 250 most promising private fintech companies of the year 2022.
Brian Lee, SVP of CB Insights’ Intelligence Unit, highlighted that this year’s Fintech 250 winners are shaping the future of financial services – from payments and banking to investing and insurance. He said it represents more than 30 countries. Lee believes these companies are creating safer and more efficient payment methods and transforming how traditional banking, insurance, and investment products are delivered. Besides making financial services more convenient for users, it makes them available to more people, especially traditionally underserved populations around the world.
CB Insights team picked the 250 winners from a pool of over 12,500 private companies, including applicants and nominees. The selection factors included R&D activity, proprietary Mosaic scores, market potential, and business relationships, as well as investor profile, news sentiment analysis, competitive landscape, and tech novelty.
Blockdaemon, which supports 60+ cutting-edge blockchain networks in the cloud and on bare metal servers globally, made it into the Fintech 250. Custodians, financial institutions, exchanges, crypto platforms, and developers use Blockdaemon to connect commercial stakeholders to blockchains. The infrastructure powers up the blockchain economy by deploying nodes and creating scalable enterprise blockchain solutions via APIs, high availability clusters, auto-decentralization, and auto-healing of nodes.
Moreover, Blockdaemon participated in the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona in June. Recently, the platform collaborated with Pocket Network to provide customers with institutional access to Pocket Network infrastructure and staking. Blockdaemon wants to enable institutions to connect to Pocket Network with a single integration, giving them easy access to Pocket Network Staking and the opportunity to earn Pocket rewards. As such, Pocket Network will become more decentralized.
