Opera, the browser offered by Microsoft has a new offering for users. Its new crypto browser is one designed to make navigation easy for the metaverse, games and decentralized apps. Partnering up with Coin98, a DeFi app based in Asia, it will boost access to Web3.
The new browser is designed to tap into the range of NFT offered by the platform, asset swaps, DEXs and cross chain bridges. This will help users to stake and lend from their portfolios. Asia’s reputation as a hotspot for internet and related technologies is on the rise thanks to a lot of young users. Many of these users are also becoming increasingly active in the crypto community. This collaboration helps Opera get close to the objective of mass crypto adoption, as well as Web3.
Opera has played an important role in the crypto industry for a while now. It has the distinction of being the first internet browser to accept BTC payments as far back as 2019. Its crypto browser project was launched in 2022 January. It now becomes easier for users to find and use dApps and the metaverse platform.
Support for blockchain networks has also been expanded and users can now access BTC, SOL, StarkEx, Polygon, BNB chain and others. Opera also tied up with Yat early this year. Yat is a service that makes it easy to create web addresses which are emojified. Users can also create URLs.
