Cryptocurrency, according to Donald Trump, is “very dangerous”

The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, recently spoke about cryptocurrencies in an interview with Fox Business. While the agenda of the interview was not cryptocurrencies, Trump did respond to questions about the same. The crypto community in the United States recognizes Trump as one of the staunchest anti-crypto leaders, and his track record speaks for itself. In the past, he had predicted a cryptocurrency crash and went on to call Bitcoin a ‘scam’. While he maintains his negative opinions on crypto, Trump did not fail to acknowledge that the space has grown exponentially over the past few years. He reiterated his conviction that the dollar should be the one and only currency in the economy of the United States. Trump warned about a potential crash of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. He added that such a crash could be bigger than all the crashes we have seen before.

The topic of NFTs came up in the interview as Trump’s wife and former first lady Melania Trump is launching her own NFT collection. While Trump remains staunchly against cryptocurrencies, he seemed hopeful about NFTs and Mrs. Trump’s endeavors on the same. He said that Melania Trump is a very creative individual and her NFT collection will reflect her creativity and understanding of art. Trump also spoke about his upcoming social media platform called Truth Social. According to him, Truth Social will be a truly unbiased social media platform where everyone can share their views without fear of censorship.
