Putting an end to all speculations, the CEO of Discord, Jason Citron, said that the company is not thinking about any immediate actions for a crypto wallet. However, he did not rule out the possibility of one in the future. He further added that the company’s first priority now is to ensure user security and privacy. Talking about the web3, he lauded the technology’s benefits but also brought to notice the possibilities of security compromise.
Citron did not rule out the possibility of a future product in his interview with The Verge. As things indicate now, any immediate plans would be postponed until a suitable time.
