Kirill Doronin is a founder of Russia’s largest digital currency pyramid named Ponzi Finiko, who has offered the officials of Russia to testify against 44 accomplices. Besides being a mastermind, he is a famous Instagram influencer with many followers. As per the reports, he has links with various criminal frauds and scams for which he was arrested this summer. After the arrest, Doronin was shifted from the Russian Republic of Tatarstan to the strict security capital, Moscow. Recently, Doronin came to a decision to reveal the secrets behind the scams for which he went into jail. In Moscow (MVD) took over his case. On 18 November 2021, an interrogation with Doronin took place in which he testified against 44 people. These 44 accomplices include a few influencers and star performers of the company. As per the claim by Doronin, he never asked his employees to collect fiat money from the investors.
How much gain did Finiko make through these scams?
The reports by blockchain forensic firm Chainanalysis say that the company made a huge profit from the scams. The records between December 2019 to August 2021 show Finiko earned more than $1.5 billion in Bitcoins. Usually, the citizens of Russia, Ukraine and other countries became a target to obtain such a large amount of gains. There are reports claiming gain in separate accounts with around 800,000 in terms of Bitcoins. The illegal collection of fiat money is the reason for such a large amount of fraudulence.
