The Great Lakes-based professional esports organization Immortals has pulled Bitstamp into a three-year partnership. The crypto exchange is now the founding partner and the official cryptocurrency exchange of Immortals. Through the deal, the esports organization can explore future crypto integration and NFT activations.
Bobby Zagotta, the CEO of Bitstamp USA, said the partnership with Immortals is an extension of the platform’s mission to empower customers by creating a more authentic experience between crypto and gaming. He acknowledged that the esports community is eclectic, passionate, and well-versed with the digital evolution. Zagotta said the esports space is among the first to explore the incorporation of digital assets in the industry.
Jordan Sherman, the CEO of Immortals, said that as an organization Immortals has to show up for its community and bring value through innovative partnerships. He shared that their partnership with Bitstamp will further enhance the Immortals fan experience with real, tangible benefits that link the crypto and gaming worlds.
Through the deal, Immortals will be launching a team of content creators that will serve as brand ambassadors for Bitstamp. Fans will have the advantage of interactive streams, exclusive giveaways, and customized content. Moreover, Bitstamp will serve as the presenting partner of the Immortals Invasion during the World Championships in the Great Lakes Region. Immortals with its Immortals Progressive LCS team will introduce in-person gaming activations, vlogs, real-time social content, for fans to engage with and celebrate. Fans also have the chance of winning crypto every time Immortals draws the First Blood.
