What happened
The programme included a keynote by Strategy’s Michael Saylor on “Digital Capital, Equity, and Credit” and one by Strike’s Jack Mallers. A corporate treasury panel brought together Adam Back, Yves Choueifaty and Sean Bill, after a Blockstream Institute announcement slot. New this year was Bitcoin Living Masterclass, a dedicated day and stage for topics beyond Bitcoin itself.
Why it mattered
BTC Prague has become the main meeting point for Europe’s Bitcoin-only community, and this year’s agenda leaned heavily toward companies holding bitcoin on their balance sheets. The 2027 edition is set for 6 to 8 May.
The developer side of the same community meets in October at bitcoin++ Berlin, a conference on Bitcoin payments, and Lugano’s Plan ₿ Forum 2026 brings the Bitcoin-only crowd back together later that month.
