Dutch Blockchain Week 2026, the eighth edition, ran from 22 to 28 June in Amsterdam. Its centrepiece was the two-day DBW Summit on 24 and 25 June at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, surrounded by more than 40 side events and the Litecoin Summit.
Key details

What happened
The summit programme included a fireside chat with Litecoin creator Charlie Lee on 24 June and a session with Lieke Helleman, who manages MiCA supervision at the Dutch markets regulator AFM. The Dutch Blockchain Awards were presented on the afternoon of 25 June. The organiser has not published an attendance figure or a list of award winners.
Why it mattered
The Netherlands was among the first EU countries to license crypto firms under MiCA, and hearing the AFM’s supervisors speak directly to the industry is one of the more practical reasons to follow this week. It is also the country’s largest recurring blockchain event.
Amsterdam hosts another crypto event this autumn, the smaller and investor-focused Legends4Legends 2026. For a comparable national week in Asia, see our report on Philippine Blockchain Week 2026.
