EX Sports Launches Maradona NFT Art Collection

According to online news sources, EX Sports is reportedly going to launch an NFT Art Collection, which will consist of 10 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) based on the rare memorabilia of Diego Armando Maradona. EX Sports is an NFT platform that allows users to buy, sell and trade unique digital assets related to sports.

Diego Maradona was a professional football player as well as manager from Argentina and is widely considered to be a legend in the world of football. His football career history is filled with many achievements. Through this NFT art collection, EX Sports is paying homage to the legendary footballer who passed away in 2020. An important point to note is that Stefano Ceci has given EX Sports legal authorization to use the Maradona brand. He was a close friend and former manager of the legendary player.

Four of these 10 NFTs were auctioned off in a VIP-only event for a total of $79,000. The event was held at DMCC Crypto Centre at Dubai on October 30. These NFTs consisted of –

· A Maradona-signed Argentine shirt from World Cup 1986, which was held in Mexico.

· The ST Dupont pen, which he used for signing a contract with the Napoli club.

· The trophy for the best player that was given to Maradona at the 1979 FIFA Youth World Cup.

The rest of the 6 memorabilia items will be given to the fans through EX Sports. This would include a jersey worn in a match when he was a part of Napoli, a Puma captain’s armband, and a ball that was used in an exciting game between Spartak Moscow and Napoli.
