An anime version of the humanoid robot Sophia is going to be tokenized in the of a non-fungible token (NFT), as per the online news sources. The tokenized version would then be auctioned through a Metaverse project which has been named the “Noah’s Ark”. Sophia is a famous humanoid artificial intelligence robot developed by Hansen Robotics in the year 2016. She is most famous for her excellent articulation and conversation abilities. The virtual anime version of Sophia was launched by the former CEO of Hansen Robotics Jeanne Lim, in early December. This version, called ‘Sophia beingAI’, was launched by Lim’s new company called being through cobranding partnership and perpetual license.
As per the announcement made on December 7, beingAI will be working on this Metaverse project while partnering with Alethea AI, which produces intelligent non-fungible tokens (iNFTs). It has been found that the companies will collaboratively launch around 100 ‘Sophia beingAI’ iNFTs in the NFT marketplace of Binance. The date for the launch has been set as December 16, and the auction is expected to continue for 5 days. The plan is to release around 20 NFTs every day and conclude the auction at the end of the fifth day, on December 21.
The announcement has made many people curious about intelligent NFTs (iNFTs). These innovative non-fungible tokens have embedded intelligence by means of an artificially intelligent personality. This means that the iNFTs are capable of interacting with people autonomously within a gamified environment. The collection of 100 iNFTs is being titled ‘The Transmedia Universe of Sophia beingAI’.
