Late American Rapper Nipsey Hussle’s Final Album to be Released as NFT Collection

According to online news sources, the final album of the late American Rapper Nipsey Hussle will be released in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT) collection. By purchasing these NFTs, users will be provided with exclusive streaming rights to the project. The Nipsey Hussle NFT collection will consist of around 1,000 NFTs, which will be released through Rairtech on January 6, 2022. According to the information provided in the listing, around 50 of the 1,000 non-fungible tokens have been reserved for the Nipsey production team and collaborators.

The NFT collection will consist of the title track of the final album Blue Laces 3, besides 7 other unreleased tracks. It will also contain a documentary on Nipsey Hussle, some behind-the-scenes footage, besides access to an exclusive Nipsey community. It has been found that the 1,000 purchasers of Nipsey Hussle NFT will thereafter be added to an exclusive Discord server. This Discord server will give them access to NFTs, merchandise, and real-world auctions as well.

The formal release of the Nipsey Hussle NFTs came on Rairtech, which is a decentralized platform for digital rights management based in Wilmington, Delaware. This will be Rairtech’s first NFT drop, for which it has partnered with veteran music producer Mr.Lee and Southwest Digital. In an interview following the announcement, the CEO and co-founder of Rairtech, Ed Prado, said that recent years have seen the emergence of many NFT platforms. He added that the company feels honored to collaborate with the Nipsey Hussle team on its first NFT drop.
