The much anticipated “Blockchain Rio Festival” will be held from September 1 – 4, 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event will feature a dynamic mix of pioneering technology, entrepreneurs, and academics.
The largest event in Latin America on Blockchain will be a full four days of transformative immersion bringing technology, business, culture, and sustainability. It will help people and companies position themselves for the future in one of the largest face-to-face events on new-age technology – blockchain.
Blockchain Rio Festival is expected to accommodate 60,000 people, more than 150 speakers, and more than 180 exhibitors in a space of 13,000 m2. The speakers to grace the event will be Allan Lopes, Founder, and CEO – SATS2Pay; Afonso Dalvi, Founder – OMNES Blockchain; Alan Marques, AgriTech Accelerator CEO; Alan Kardec, CSO at BLOCKCHAIN ONE; and Alberto Davila, Founder of LUMEEIRA.
In March 2022, Rio de Janeiro hosted “Ethereum.Rio”. It was an event for Ethereum blockchain enthusiasts. Ethereum.Rio was described as a gateway for international blockchain projects in Latin America. Through this event, Rio de Janeiro wants to emerge as a regional Web3 hub. The Brazilian city wants to be a place for Brazilian and LATAM creators and builders with global ambitions.
