He is settling for bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), litecoin (LTC), Polkadot (DOT), and other cryptos. The rock legend believes cryptocurrencies are the in-thing. He said it’s the way forward for cash.
Simmons says it’s sensible to supply events the choice of using cryptos to buy property. The rocker is a crypto enthusiast and recently revealed that has over $1 million worth of bitcoins. He has been tweeting about different cryptocurrencies which got critics saying that he was being paid to advertise them.
The KISS frontman bought the sprawling Sin Metropolis mansion, which boasts eight bogs, a house theatre, a 1,200-gallon aquarium, and 11-car storage, for $10.8 million. He decided to sell the property as his household was not keen on the 115-degree climate.
The rising popularity of cryptos has caught the eye of a number of A-listers and celebrities including Harry Porter author JK Rowling. She is said to have tweeted an explanation of how bitcoin works to her millions of followers on the microblogging platform. In November 2021, Maisie Williams the Games of Thrones actress released a Twitter poll about going long on the popular bitcoin. Williams’s survey garnered 902,000 votes, wherein 53.4% urged her not to. This had bitcoin doubling from $16,000 to $42,000 in the period of six weeks.
