LimeWire announces new NFT collection

LimeWire is a music sharing platform that allows people to share music on a peer to peer basis. In March, they announced that they would be relaunching their marketplace when it came to NFTs. Building up to this release, they announced that they would be released a new collection of NFTs. This collection will be able to provide holders with utilities in their real lives.

Also known as LimeWire Originals, there are more than 10,000 avatars that can be collected. These provide holders with unique perks, such as being invited to LimeWire events that are exclusive. They can also get token rewards and even enjoy early access to drops of NFTs

LimeWire and NFTs

Through a press release, LimeWire revealed that their new collection is expected to launch on the ETH blockchain. People who are the original holders will also have access to exclusive drops from LimeWire. They are expected to launch a new token later this year, that the original holders will be able to access.

These tokens, also known as utility tokens, will be distributed evenly among all the top 10,000 NFT holders. Holders will also get tickets to events that the company hosts. Their NFT will serve as their free tickets, with one NFT being equivalent to one free ticket.

Purchase options when it comes to the NFT drops will be in phases. Early supporters are the ones who will be provided with first access to LimeWire’s sale. Currently, only a limited handful of people on the Discord channel of the company, have access. This is through a purchasing platform that is dedicated.
