MiamiWeb3 Summit, which will be held from November 28 to 30 at the InterContinental Hotel, is set to be the most significant international institutional Web3 event of 2022. The three-day in-person event will feature industry leaders, most notedly Miami mayor Francis Suarez and Senator Cynthia Lummis, in venture capital, financial services, digital assets, and government.
Speakers will discuss key trends and policies in this fast-moving sector. Suarez believes Web3 is already transforming everyday lives and the future of the global economy. He said Miami is now at the cutting edge of this revolution and the summit will keep the city at the strategic forefront of Web3 technology in the years ahead.
The upcoming event will also feature Anthony “Pomp” Pompliano, a renowned crypto investor, and senior commodity strategist Mike McGlone at Bloomberg Intelligence among dozens of experts. There will be panels highlighting the current clash between regulator agencies as the United States grapples with who should have oversight of the digital assets space. Sessions will shed light on the battle for scalability and the challenges and opportunities associated with investing in Web3 ecosystems.
There is something for everyone, including newcomers and experts, at this summit. It will look into broader themes within the industry like DAOs, gaming, privacy concerns, navigating regulatory uncertainty, the future of money, and how best to make the jump from Web2.
Raymond Yuan, CEO, and founder of CTH Group, believes it’s important to bring the ecosystem together to discuss and shape its development sustainability equitably. He feels there is no better place to do so than in Miami, which was fast emerging as the hub for Web3.
