The interest was driven by the latest buzz that was generated around the meme cryptocurrency called Dogecoin on Twitter. In a recent interview, Osaka said that she was talking to her agent about cryptocurrencies after reading about Dogecoin on Twitter. It was after she did a little research that she felt that crypto would be something interesting that might gain even more traction in the future.

Besides this, the Grand Slam champion has also launched a second round of non-fungible token (NFT) offerings. This offering is a Preseason Access Pass NFT Collection. The VIP access holders of this collection will get the first Naomi Osaka NFT which will be a limited edition. It was a 6-piece NFT art collection which was called ‘The Colors of Naomi Osaka’. According to the news reports, the collection was able to raise more than $600,000 for The Play Academy, which is the foundation opened by Naomi Osaka.
