Nifty News: Shiberse land grab, falling floor prices, NFT house sale, and more

Selling virtual properties has already gained a lot of traction among metaverse believers and enthusiasts. Many people, including celebrities, spent thousands of dollars to buy virtual plots on different metaverses. Now the team behind Shiba Inu is at the final stage of its metaverse, termed ‘Shiba Lands’. Shiba lands, like other metaverses, would be an open world with various components, including the ability to construct virtual properties over virtual plots of lands. For now, the metaverse does not have any fixed name but it is getting the hype under the name of Shiberse. The official dates are yet to be announced. People who hold the LEASH token will have early access to Shiba Lands and Shiberse.

In other news, the global NFT market is seeing a sudden downward spiral in prices and engagements. Many top projects fell in price by over 10%. Bored Ape Yacht Club, Cryptopunks, and Clone X noticed a fall in prices. NFT trading volume in OpenSea also fell by 30%. Many people are already speculating whether this is the beginning of the burst of the NFT bubble.

However, a new NFT turn-based card game is already making headlines. Skyweaver – a project based on the Polygon network, will be an innovative, first-of-its-kind NFT-based card game. Players can earn tokenized cards from the game and get access to the Skyweaver marketplace. It is a play-to-earn card game based on blockchain.

With so much going on in the world of cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and blockchain, the past week had been very eventful.
