Ozzy Osbourne is the latest celebrity who has caught onto the NFT bug. As such, the former lead singer of the 1970s-80s heavy metal band Black Sabbath has rolled out his own line of digital collectibles called CryptoBatz. With this Ozzy Osbourne has zapped fans back to the moment when he bit the head of a live bat on stage!
CryptoBatz is made up of 9,666 non-fungible tokens. The musician described the collection as a “fucking mental project” for NFT collectors and fans alike. Ozzy Osbourne shed light on the design, a tribute to one of his iconic onstage moments. He said it’s a chance of a lifetime to acquire a rare piece of art history.
Collectors can create additional NFTs by remodeling with other products in the user’s digital wallet. The CryptoBat comes with a feature, that when activated, will allow collectors to create an additional NFT. This can be achieved by allowing the purchase to “bite” and mutate with another NFT in the digital wallet.
The project collaborators include SupDucks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Cryptotoadz. There is also an unnamed, mysterious collection. It gives collectors the chance to create their very own “MutantBatz”.
Ozzy Osbourne is also set to launch AncientBatz. This is actually described as a treasure hunt for CryptoBatz holders. It allows the token enthusiasts to go on a global hunt to track down the virtual Batz in coveted locations. The bats would be able to bite up to 100 times. This in turn breeds 100 MutantBatz.
