Producers of Bollywood Movie ’83’ to Launch an NFT Collection

The latest Bollywood film to hop on the NFT bandwagon is Kabir Khan’s ‘83’, which is based on the 1983 World Cup win of the Indian Cricket Team. According to online news sources, the producers of the movie have reportedly released non-fungible tokens (NFTs) related to the movie ‘83’. The NFTs, which were created on the Polygon blockchain will consist of video scenes, unseen images and posters, and animated digital avatars. The major highlight of the NFT is the cricket memorabilia in physical form which also comes with autographs.

It has been found that the NFTs for 83 will be released in collaboration with Social Swag, an engagement platform led by influencers, and NFT Labs. By releasing this NFT collection, the producers of the movie will be making their first foray into the world of digital assets. This would also provide cricket and Bollywood enthusiasts an excellent foray into the world of digital collectibles.

The director of 83, Kabir Khan, said in an interview recently that the 83 team is excited to explore the possibilities offered by the digital world. He added that the 1983 win of the Indian cricket team was a momentous occasion for all the Indians. This makes the NFT collection a prized possession for the collectors. The NFT Labs CEO, Artharva Sabnis, also gave an interview in which he said the NFT collection will provide people an opportunity to add a piece of history to their memorabilia collection. He added that this world of opportunities was not available to the people before the existence of Web 3.0.
