The leading brand, which is known for its innovation and for being at the technical forefront, is making waves with another pioneering launch. This time, Samsung grabbed headlines in the blockchain and crypto-segment.
The latest launch from Samsung is its 2022 TV line-up. The company has introduced three TV models with NFT – Non-Fungible Tokens – capabilities. With this launch, Samsung becomes the first company in the world to launch NFT through TV screens.
NFT Features of the Samsung 2022 Collection
The three Samsung TV models have been named The Frame, Neo QLED, and MICRO LED.
The NFT application comes with an “intuitive” and “integrated” platform. This platform allows users to discover not only digital artworks but also buy them or trade-in these assets. Users can also display their digital artwork on the platform.
In addition, users can get a preview of their NFT artwork. They can also go through the history as well as the blockchain metadata related to artworks of interest. The buyer can use this information to make a better purchase decision.
With its multiple capabilities, the 2022 Samsung collection offers a single platform with multi-NFT task support. The brand believes that its new NFT feature would be a “ground-breaking platform” to perform multiple NFT functions.
Apart from the path-breaking NFT capability, these TVs also come with other advanced features.
Features include Smart Calibration for optimal picture quality and a powerful Gaming Hub with an extensive gaming library. Also included is Watch Together, an app that allows users to group-watch a favorite show, sport or movie while video chatting.
NFT – Non-Fungible Tokens – witnessed immense popularity in 2021. With Samsung’s latest NFT-enabled TVs, the reach of NFT trading can be expected to become massive. It should be noted that Samsung had introduced a crypto-wallet in 2019 in its Galaxy S10 phones.
