Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group’s Scream is set for a first-of-its-kind NFT release through a partnership with Sneaky Vampire Syndicate (SVS). This is part of the film’s marketing and promotion in the crypto world. Both partners are hoping to deliver real-world benefits to fans. SVS is also working towards closing the gap between the mainstream media and the NFT space.
This project has 8888 vampire-based NFTs – for horror and thriller lovers. Each vampire is unique. It’s drawn by hand with its own special expressions and characteristics. Through this project, SVS looks to promote innovation, uniqueness, and creativity.
Scream, starring Kyle Gallner, Melissa Barrera, Neve Campbell, Dylan Minnette, David Arqutte, and Jenna Ortega, etc., will be in cinemas on 14 January 2022. Fans of the movie franchise and SVS’s NFT enthusiasts are encouraged to participate in a fan art contest. Participants can use the official artwork as an example for inspiration. They can submit their artwork by January 4. SVS and ScreamMovies social media handles will engage and interact with the fans.
According to a press release, SVS NFT holders would be invited to participate via the governance token $BLOOD. They will have the chance of winning two tickets for the film’s advanced screenings. These are free tickets for Scream. Despite the free tickets being only for the US audience, SVS enthusiasts across the world have the opportunity of winning the limited print.
Advanced screenings, as per the official statement, will take a few days prior to the film’s worldwide release. SVS enthusiasts will be pleased to know that a fraction of the seats will be solely reserved for them. Besides the limited print tickets, winners will receive Scream and SVS-branded merchandise and collectibles.
