The company says that providing OTT (over-the-top) services through smart TV, websites, and digital media will offer various benefits. Accepting the cryptocurrency depicts the company’s wish to bring comfort and different options to the platform’s checkout process.

Sling TV’s monthly subscription payment will be accepted in; BTC (Bitcoin), BCH (Bitcoin Cash), WBTC (Wrapped Bitcoin), ETH (Ethereum), LTC (Litecoin), DOGE (Dogecoin). Furthermore, the company also gave options to pay in Stablecoins such as BUSD, USDC, GUSD, DAI, USDP.

Sling TV, the digital streaming service is following plenty of companies that are adding cryptocurrency payment support systems for the past 12 months. At present, Sling TV users who have the current monthly subscription will be able to pay through digital currencies. However, new users will have to make the first-time payment via traditional payment methods and subsequently will be provided the digital payment options.
