Use Shiba Inu to buy land in the Shiba metaverse.

Here’s some delightful news for Shiba Inu enthusiasts! You can now use the meme coin to purchase land in the Shiba metaverse.

SHIB: The Metaverse is offering 100,595 different pieces of land. It was only possible to purchase land using Ether, but now SHIB’s integration makes it possible to buy land, and grants users added customization options for their virtual land as well. SHIB:The Metaverse landowners will be able to generate passive income, gather in-game resources, and generate rewards – but it’s yet to be seen.

The land plots will be released in phases. The initial stage, that is the introductory phase, had 36,431 plots unlocked on April 13. The land was divided into four categories – Silver, Fur, Gold, Tail, Platinum Paw, and Diamond Teeth – priced between 0.2ETH – 1ETH.

SHIB has grown from a simple meme coin and Elon Musk’s hyped tweets, to support NFTs and the decentralized finance (DeFi) platform ShibaSwap. Shiba Inu’s ecosystem now includes subsidiary tokens, including LEASH and BONE. Developers want the two tokens to play more of a significant role as the metaverse project is developed. Holders that lock in LEASH are given access to land bids. BONE is a governance token. It allows holders to vote on decisions concerning the development of the metaverse.

SHIB:The Metaverse, as per a recent Medium post from the Unification Foundation, will be developed in Shibarium – a forthcoming layer-2 scaling solution for SHIB. A public test will go live over the next few months, a public beta will soon follow.
