UTA Signs Prominent NFT Projects Cryptopunks, Autoglyphs, and Meebits
On 31st August, UTA announced that it has signed 3 big Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) projects with Meedbits, Cryptopunks, and Autoglyphs. All the projects have been created by Larva Labs, a crypto art tech company.
About UTA
The United Talent Agency (UTA) is a global talent, entertainment, and sports agency. Located in Beverly Hills, California, the United Talent Agency has nearly 1000 employees, dedicated to merchandise licensing, branding, music, film, television, digital art, video games, news, and many more platforms.
With this new move, UTA is ready to represent the world of cryptocurrencies and NFTs, starting with 3 of Larva Labs’ projects. The company’s intellectual property related to the NFT collectibles can now be promoted and sold in various ways.
About the Projects
The NFT project Cryptopunks offers over 10k unique punks which have rolled in millions of dollars. According to the head of UTA Digital Assets, Lesley Silverman, Cryptopunks are a leading collectible in the NFT space. UTA is looking forward to expanding the users and fans of Larva Labs for a whole new experience.
The other projects, Meebits and Autoglyphs, have also made an impact as NFTs. Created in 2019, Autoglyphs consist of only 512 generative NFTs. These “glyphs” generated by Autoglyphs are quite expensive. On 31st August, 2 glyphs were sold for more than a million dollars each.
Meebits is Larva Labs’ newest collection of NFTs. They consist of around 20,000 3D Meebit characters, each unique in design and created using a generative algorithm.
Larva Labs is excited to work with UTA. An executive with Larva Labs, Matt Hall, commented that the company will greatly benefit from UTA’s expertise.
