According to the news sources, an Indian company called Vahdam India has reportedly gifted a personalized non-fungible token (NFT) to the newly-appointed Twitter CEO, Parag Agarwal. Vahdam India is a company dealing in premium teas and other tea products. The announcement, which was made on December 23, said that the gift was a form of tribute to the Twitter CEO, who is of Indian origin.
As per the announcement, the NFT will be listed on the OpenSea NFT platform and it will feature Parag Agarwal enjoying a cup of tea in his office. The NFT is aimed to highlight the momentous day for Indians all over the world, as a person of Indian origin assumes an important place in the world’s leading social platform. The CEO and founder of Vahdam India, Bala Sarda, gave an interview after the announcement in which he praised the achievement of the new Twitter CEO. He said that Parag Agarwal becoming the Twitter CEO is a proud moment for all Indians, and his accomplishment seems like a personal victory. He added that the company wanted to gift something special to Parag Agarwal to commemorate this special occasion.
The Parag Agarwal NFT is the second NFT launched by the tea company this year. In early 2021, the company had launched its first NFT, which was named ‘Vahdam India’s Ticket to Mars’. This non-fungible token featured the CEO of Tesla sipping on the Vahdam teas. By buying this NFT, the users would be able to enjoy an intergalactic space expedition while sipping their favorite teas.
