Wormhole and Injective have teamed up to provide ten new blockchains to the Wormhole platform.

Injective, which is a decentralized finance protocol, has deduced to partner with Wormhole. Together, they will integrate at least ten brand new blockchains into their network. Injective is essentially a layer-2 exchange that is decentralized, related to Cosmos. They offer derivatives, sports betting as well as token swaps.

Injective also focuses on bringing between cross chains, and making them interoperable. Digital assets that are from ETH, DOT as well as IBC like Cosmos, are also supported.

Wormhole and Injective

The developers of the protocol, Injective Labs, announced on Wednesday that they will use their partnership with Wormhole to improve the trade and transfer of assets. They will make it so that users will be able to both transfer as well as trade their assets. This can be done using any chain that enjoys integration with their partner, Wormhole.

This integration with Wormhole is expected to enhance the capabilities of Injective, especially when it comes to interoperability. Wormhole will be integrated into Injective Bridges back end. This will allow assets to be transferred from chains like EVM or Solana. All this can be done at the touch of a button, according to Injective Labs.

Wormhole is essentially a messaging protocol that is generic. This then interacts with various blockchains. As a result, application support across chains as well as bridges for tokens, can be enjoyed by users. So far, even the website for Wormhole only lists nine integrations of the chain. The tenth is yet to be named.
