The Plan ₿ Forum is the flagship event of Lugano’s Plan ₿, the Swiss city’s Bitcoin adoption programme run with Tether. The 2026 edition takes place on 23 and 24 October across the Lugano Convention Centre, Villa Ciani and Ex-Asilo Ciani.

Who it is for
The forum is Bitcoin-focused and attracts entrepreneurs, developers, economists, policymakers and advocates interested in how cities and countries adopt Bitcoin. Alongside keynotes and panels there are workshops, a startup and sponsor exhibition and a Bitcoin art gallery.
Why it matters
Lugano is one of the few European cities to build Bitcoin into public policy, from payments to education. The forum is where that experiment is presented to the wider industry, and it regularly features speakers from governments exploring similar paths.
